LEGEND AWARD

The Legend Award is designed to recognize and support young hockey players—ranging from Mites through High School—who are actively playing in these divisions in Omaha, Fremont, Lincoln, and their surrounding areas. This award is for players of character who embody the award's and league's five core values of sportsmanship, community, optimism, responsibility, and education.

Awardees will be selected for demonstration of these values through determination, resilience, coachability, and a desire to learn and grow, both on and off the ice.

The Legends Hockey League, along with its partners—Liberty First Credit Union, Midlands Auto Repair, Nebraska Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and Elite Insurance Services—will be selecting two hockey players to each receive a $500.00 award. The award will be paid directly to the winners’ parent or guardian.

All applications must be submitted by October 15th 2025. The selections will be made by November 15th 2025.
